Adding to the success of Elements and Rise programs, PEERS Vancouver is offering a six-month Skills Link program combining life and career skills training with mainstream, on-the-job work experience.
The first two months (8 weeks) provide group and individual hands-on life and career skills training; workshops; certificates in CPR/First Aid, SuperHost, Food Safe (level one); guest speakers.
The next four months (17 weeks) are spent in an external job placement with continual support from PEERS Vancouver.
We provide a 30-hour per week wage from start to finish, snacks and bus fare.
Past participants of RISE or similar programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
